K-ETA, or Korea Electronic Travel Authorization, is an online electronic travel authorization that eligible visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering South Korea. It allows people to travel for short-term business, tourism, visiting family, or taking part in activities.

The processing time for a K-ETA application is usually within 72 hours. However, delays may occur during peak seasons or if extra verification is needed. We recommend applying as early as possible before your trip to avoid any last-minute issues.
With an approved K-ETA, you can typically stay in Korea for up to 90 days per visit, depending on your nationality. Make sure to check the specific entry period allowed for your country before traveling.
After it is issued, the K-ETA is valid for three years. Within its validity, it might be used multiple times. You must, however, apply for a new K-ETA if you renew your passport.
