South Korea ETA Requirements for Malaysia Citizens

1. Check Visa Requirement

Malaysia is on the list of countries that can travel to South Korea without a visa. But a valid K-ETA is REQUIRED for us when entering this country. Therefore, citizens of Malaysia are ELIGIBLE to apply for a K-ETA of South Korea.

Please note that an approved K-ETA does not guarantee entry into the Republic of Korea and the final decision will be made by the Korea Immigration Services officer at the port of entry.

2. Type of South Korea ETA available for Malaysia citizens

  • Tourist K-ETA (Multiple entries for 3 years)
  • Business K-ETA (Multiple entries for 3 years).

3. How to apply for a K-ETA?

Please follow the instructions below if Malaysia citizens wish to receive K-ETA:

  • Step 1: Enter your passport numbers and personal information in the application form.
  • Step 2: Verify all your details and pay the K-ETA fees, which include both service and government fees.
  • Step 3: Get your passport stamped at the airport with a copy of your K-ETA.
